The second friendly Junior Quadrathlon took place on a very wet September evening. The event was put together with our friends at Blyth to ensure youngsters had the opportunity to compete during the summer months.
Our young green and golds are a hardy, resilient bunch, and they turned out in force to run, throw and jump their hearts. Competitors ranged from as young as six right up to 13, taking part in sprints, long jump, howlers and endurance races. All received a medal at the end of the evening.
Everyone gave fantastic performances and we are extremely proud of them.
Special thanks to Daniel Njai-Rowney for all his organisational skills and support!
