This year’s Santa Run, to raise funds for RNIB, is on Sunday December 6th at The Rising Sun Country Park, at 11am.

Registration fee (£10 for adults, £5 for children) includes your Santa suit.

The final pounds are in and we are delighted to announce this year’s fundraising total for the Toby Run is £4,081.06

This means that over eight years Wallsend Harriers has raised a staggering £28,000 for St. Oswald’s Hospice!

Thank-you to everyone who took part and supported us. What a fantastic achievement.

We have two places for the 2016 Virgin London Marathon up for grabs. Anyone interested should put their name down on the board at the club on a Tuesday or Thursday night at Hadrian Leisure Centre. The successful two will be drawn at the Christmas Party on December 12th at Lindisfarne Social Club.

After a delayed start to the race, thanks to a ferocious ferret (I’m not kidding!), Emily beats off last month’s winner Lyndsey Broderick to take the victory. Mark Summers stormed around to finish in 3rd place. Son Matty, finished first junior.

The North Eastern Cross Country Championships will soon be upon us.
It takes place on Saturday 12th December at 11am at Sedgefield. And to finish the day off in style our Christmas party follows the same evening in Wallsend. A great way to celebrate the achievements of the day.

The U13 boys go off first at 11am followed by races up to the senior men starting at 13:00 and senior women at 13:55. 
It’s £5 for seniors and £4 for juniors.
It would be great to end the year with a bang and the green and gold vests coming out in force.
