Sessions over Christmas

The last club session this year at Hadrian Leisure Centre will be on Thursday 20th December.

The last track session will be on Friday 21st December.

On Sunday 23rd December at 10am all are welcome to Paddy’s xmas x-country fun (!) session at East Cramlington Nature Centre (NE23 6XG). There will be post event drinks at the Left Luggage pub in Monkseaton. Please let him know if you’re planning on going along.

On Thursday 27th December Kev will be putting on a ‘social’ run down the coast. Meet at 6.30pm on Hartley Avenue (the road leading down to Churchill track) in Whitley Bay.

Don’t forget our New Year’s Day Grand Prix race at Rising Sun parkrun starting at 10.30am. Register for a barcode on the parkrun website if you don’t already have one.

The first session of 2019 will be on Thursday 3rd January and the first track session will be on Friday 4th January.

Have a great Christmas.

11th Toby (2018) raises over £2,000 for St Oswald’s

In December we handed over a cheque for £2,149 to St Oswald’s Hospice following our 11th Toby charity run.

In August a band of 18 green and golds took on the gruelling 188-mile long run from Edinburgh to Tynemouth. It was our 11th Toby challenge and so far we have raised over £35,000.

There’s no sign of it stopping anytime soon!

Thanks to all who took part and supported our fundraising efforts.

Christmas Presentation Night 2018

It was another sparkling night of celebration at this year’s annual Christmas Presentation Night. It was great to see so many at the Lindisfarne to mark the year’s events and all the Green and Gold achievements by juniors, seniors and Vets.

You can see all the photos from the night on our gallery page here.

It would be unfair to single out individuals so the full list of winners is here.

Well done to everyone! And thank-you to all those who have donned their green and gold vest and represented the club this year and to everyone who has supported us.

Let’s make 2019 even bigger and better!

In the meantime, have a wonderful Christmas and we’ll see you raring to go again in the New Year!
