Danielle’s living the dream!

Time for a huge big up to our speed Queen Danielle Hodgkinson…

In the last couple of weeks she achieved her dream of wearing an England vest and was first home for the England team at the Parelloop 10k in Brunnsum, Holland. Not only that but she ran a 10k PB of 34:13!

And if that wasn’t enough, a week later she smashed it again! Winning the Titanic 10k in Belfast (representing the North of England) and taking another 32 seconds off her 10k time.

This ranks her in the UK top 10 this year! What a woman!! We are all super proud of our girl. Massive congratulations Danielle.

Taylor ‘boosts’ to victory in SGP ?

Despite ‘taking it easy’ prior to his marathon on Sunday and in the midst of ultra training, our victor crossed the line with room to spare.

Winter Grand Prix 2018/2019 Results

The last 6 months have seen 118 of us represent the mighty Green and Gold in our Winter Grand Prix.

We’ve worn the colours with pride and cheered each other on come rain, sun or snow. The Cobalt course has been regularly lit up by our (mostly) fluorescent attire – with course and age category records falling by the wayside…

Mens’ Captain End of Year Report 2018-19

The last year was my third year as men’s captain and I have to say my proudest year to date!  This isn’t just due to the performances of my teammates.  I feel over the last year we have shown tremendous strength, unity and commitment which has not only been noticed by most of our members, but by other clubs within the North East.  I literally couldn’t be prouder to be sat here as the men’s captain of Wallsend Harriers.
