They think it’s ‘Paul’ over…

The ever-improving Paul Heatherington will lift the Doug Bramley Cup after a spectacular finish on Tuesday (5 DEC) night. With 200m left, Paul overtook race leader Gary Lewis and held off a charging Zara Strettle to win the WGP with a third PB in a row.

David Diston was the fastest male with a 18:36, three seconds ahead of Matty Summers, who set a new JB15 record of 18:39. Josh Oates also beat his own JB13 record with a 20:44. Erin Prior was the fastest female and also sets a new JW record of 20:37. Donna Thompson is the new V40 record holder, taking Julie Williams crown with a 21:00. And Julie Collinson rounds off the record breaking night and sets another F50 record with 24:08. Well done everyone.
