It was another sparkling night of celebration at this year’s annual Christmas Presentation Night. It was great to see so many at the Lindisfarne to mark the year’s events and all the Green and Gold achievements by juniors, seniors and Vets.
You can see all the photos from the night on our gallery page here.
It would be unfair to single out individuals so the full list of winners is here.
Well done to everyone! And thank-you to all those who have donned their green and gold vest and represented the club this year and to everyone who has supported us.
Let’s make 2019 even bigger and better!

In the meantime, have a wonderful Christmas and we’ll see you raring to go again in the New Year!
Doesn’t x-country fly when you’re having fun?! We’re already more than half way through and going great guns…
Ok ok so I wasn’t there, but I was with you all in spirit (as I stuffed myself with pastries in sunny Paris 🙂
Rumour had it that the weather was biblical; thunder, lightning, hail, the lot, but from what I could see on Facebook it was glorious sunshine (bunch of drama queens :).
Am I annoying you yet?
I’ve been a member of Wallsend Harriers for just over a year, having joined in August 2017. I thought I’d write down my experiences with the club as I think it’s a generally fantastic thing to get involved in (just don’t get me started on the Bogie Chain, I hate the Bogie Chain).
With barely enough time to brush down our xc footwear, it was time to hit the windy banks again, this time at the beautiful Druridge Bay.
The weather was not as advertised but this did not deter our faithful band of Green and Golds…
It’s that magic time of year again; when mud flows, the spikes are out and cakes are a plenty…x-country time!.
